Philo student gives Italian lessons for all levels

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language? I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

Language Classes: I will focus on teaching grammar via textbook exercises and tailored ones, as well as helping putting grammar into practice through a conversation based class. Cooking Classes: I will teach the basics of Italian Cuisine as well as any more specific recipes. I can spam from easy appetizers to complex desserts and main courses. For all the recipes, the most important ingredient is enthusiasm :)

Spanish is one of the most-spoken languages worldwide. It also happens to be my mother tongue. I can help you with your writing, reading, listening and oral performance, as well as Spanish and Latin American literature and culture. I will adapt my classes to your specific needs.

Always enjoying languages, I grew up in an international culture and school. I indeed lived 6 years in Italy during my childhood and therefore speak fluent Italian. This made it easier for me to learn English (obtaining Cambridge KET level in 6th grade) and German, which I present all three at the baccalaureate. I also learned Spanish on a personal basis by passion for languages! Having therefore learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it. Italy is one of the countries where not that many citizens speak English language, therefore it might be difficult to adapt to locals without knowing Italian, at least basic one. By this class I would like to immerse you into Basic Italian language and culture. For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. I will cover main functional areas of Italian grammar and vocabulary within different areas and will make sure that you start speaking since the first class already, since Practice Makes Perfect and Italian is not so difficult as it may seem at first! Si le français est ma langue maternelle, je suis également bilingue anglais, je peux le parler au quotidien dans d'autres pays mais je peux aussi écrire des histoires en anglais - la littérature étant ma spécialité. Dans ce cours, je propose donc d'apprendre l'anglais, que ce soit à un niveau débutant ou déjà avancé. Je m'adapte aux besoin de chacun, si certains veulent un apprentissage plus classique ou d'autres plus ludique. Je propose aussi de s'amuser à “créer” en anglais, des histoires écrits dont le sujet peut être guidé comme libre, des histoires joués comme du théâtre ou du “role play”, des mises en situation etc.

I am a native English speaker currently studying at University, I have been teaching English for the last year. I am happy to teach any level speaker, I can also specialise in conversational English or really help with the grammar foreign speakers can struggle with.
