Learn the Italian language

I base my classes on the needs of each individual. I like to offer fun and cultural activities (analysis of pieces of films, songs, literary texts) as well as simulations of plausible situations. I like to show in my classes the life that lies behind a language. Above all, I try to transmit my passion in learning new languages! I also offer help with Italian homework and training courses for oral exams (language level but also everything related to theater work: posture, tone of voice, diction, etc.).

Good morning! My name is Stéphane, I am an Erasmus student in Lyon. I am a native speaker of French and Italian (I was born in Rome). I therefore offer conversation in Italian, all levels! We can talk about several things! I know Italian history and art quite well, I also like to talk about current events. But we can focus on specific needs, kind of fields of work, a vocabulary of a particular field, field of study... I like people to feel comfortable and interested in the topics of conversation. I therefore prefer that there is no need to take the lead in a conversation: to be concentrated on the language is already enough, no need in addition to concentrate on things that do not belong to our field of interest and curiosity. I consider myself available and flexible, I am patient but I don't hesitate to correct and give precise indications and corrections, I like when what I explain is precise. The lessons can be done either face-to-face, at home in Lyon and Villeurbanne, or online, by webcam (zoom, google meet, teams etc...). With over 10 years of teaching experience, including 7 in France, in Paris, I offer courses for all levels, focused on your professional, academic or personal needs and requirements. I worked as an Italian language and culture trainer for staff from various companies (Yves Saint Laurent, SNCF, Alstom, Orange), supporting and training them in writing emails, simulating calls to customers and suppliers, negotiation and informal conversation. I was also a teacher at the Italian Cultural Center in Paris, as well as at the Municipal Courses of the Paris City Hall, managing classes of more than 30 students.
