I offer straightforward instruction for all levels, helping you build your skills at your own pace. I have experience with classical music, jazz, Latin, and Afro-percussion, as well as theatrical percussion. I'm a jazz trumpet player from Italy, I have played the trumpet for 15 years, and I'm currently a master's student at Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a professional musician. In this class, I will transfer to you all my competencies about classical trumpet techniques and how to apply that in a jazz improvisation. My teaching approach is not made by a universal method, I intend to personalize the method for what you need now to achieve your goals.

In the percussion field there are more instruments than you can count, it's a perfect opportunity to try out different things in the musical field and see what you like as a beginner, intermediate or advanced student. I am teaching music theory to all my students in order to deepen their musical knowledge on any instrument. I've been playing, studying, teaching and performing for over 15 years now, so I can use my experience to find good qualities in the you and develop them as much as possible. If you want to study with me I can provide a stable program for development including scores, exercises etc. In this class, we will be focusing on instruments sutch as Marimba, Vibraphone, Drum set, Latin percussion, African percussion, Djembe, Orchestral Percussion, Timpani and more. You can come to a lesson and see what you like from all the things mentioned. Do you have instruments at home? I can come to your home and spare you the travels.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

These classes are designed to help you achieve your individual goals. My aim will be to keep you motivated and engaged to learn and practice English during and outside of the lesson. Since early 2021, I have dedicated my time to volunteering to support children aged between 5 -10 years with basic literacy skills across England. This has included non-native speakers as well those children who might be behind the required levels. I have delivered nearly 140 reading sessions online during 2024 with a number of schools. My passion for teaching young learners in particular has grown to ensure everyone has a good start in life, communicating in a language which is recognised globally.
