Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Rich in my experience and passionate about pedagogy, I teach Guitar to children and adults. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced level! Holder of a State diploma as a guitar teacher, and a master's in music pedagogy, I am passionate about transmitting. I also specialized in different pedagogies, and methods like Montessori, Willems. I am 21 years old and I am currently a flute student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I finished my studies in conservatories in France and obtained a license in music and musicology at the Sorbonne (Paris IV). I offer personalized lessons meeting the desires and ambitions of everyone, from the simple beginner to the confirmed musician. For the flute lessons, I offer exercises for sound, technique, adapted pieces. During music theory lessons, I can give tips for learning to read keys, rhythms, and offer dictations. Studying the theory allows you to learn to recognize chords, to calculate a score, to analyze the structure of a piece, to recognize the style from musical elements. It is possible to combine several lessons, for example half an hour of flute then a quarter of an hour of music theory.

This class focuses on the main aspects of classical guitar performance and education and will be adapted regarding the student's own knowledge, skills, and ambitions -knowledge of the fretboard -music reading; -music interpretation; -body and hand posture; -left and right-hand technique exercises; -memory exercises for playing by heart; -guidance in the organizing of the student's practice schedule; -preparation for admission exams in music schools (ex. Sweelinck Academy) and Music Conservatories; -preparation for classical guitar competitions and recitals.

I think it is important to learn a good musical basis adapted to your student's needs and skills. I am a guitar teacher and a school musician so you can learn everything in the music field. Classical guitar, song accompaniment with vocals, singing groups for adults and children etc. Also pupils who need special guidance or a disability are very welcome. Fun and fulfillment in and through music are the most important starting points. Home schooling is also possible.

Oud is a type of middle eastern guitar, similar to the lute. Its musical style varies from place to place. In this class I aim to teach the basics such as technique, tuning, some basic maqams (scales in western music) and sample songs to practice. This class is aimed for beginners who want to get started with this charming instrument.

I create a personal and flexible plan for each student depending on your level.
