I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory. I teach on an upright acoustic piano at my place in Wedding and in some cases travel to the student for lessons.

Hi my name is Anne. I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop. During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year. Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo. Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson. Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons. I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities. We will play a lot of music together. Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style. Being able to play an instrument is an enrichment for everyone! Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better. I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play. When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises. I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :) I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition. My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France. My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones. How about you?

Drum lessons for beginners or advanced players at home or in my rehearsal room. You will learn bit by bit how to play your favorite songs through coordination, tempo, sound and improvisation exercises. I am a 34 year old Spanish musician with a degree in drums (Barcelona) and music teacher (Huelva) who currently lives in Berlin. I have 12 years experience teaching drums and 18 years performing and recording. My passion is music and I love to pass this passion on to my students through my lessons. The lessons are carried out with a mask and with regular negative tests. Online lessons are also possible.

Hello, I'm Shanice, 23 years old and I studied jazz / pop at the HfMT. I offer bass lessons for beginners and advanced players of all ages. I am stylistically very flexible because of my work in various bands. I play for Kat Frankie, Sookee and Marla Glen and shared the stage with acts like Akua Naru, KLAN, Alli Neumann and Fil Bo Riva. I also made a studio recording for Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson's guitarist). My core competency is teaching groove and timing across genres of pop, rock, jazz, funk and especially hip hop (swagtime, in-between timing). We are also happy to talk about ear training and harmony, as well as synth bass and VST synth programming and music production. In addition, I also offer band coaching (as soon as it is possible again). If you are interested in a free trial lesson (30min), I would be very happy to hear from you. I have a bachelor in Musicology, a master in History of Music and Arts and a master in Piano performance. I completed my study in Italy (Parma University and Conservatory of Bari) and I moved to Berlin in January 2019. I have 7 experience in teaching piano and music theory to musicians of all ages ("Accademia musicale mediterranea" in Taranto) and what I learned is that I like to be able to teach with success without following every time just the commonly accepted teaching rules. My goal is to help students make sense of composing and arranging in Ableton and to create an effective workflow, utilizing the software’s numerous features. I have experience in both electronic (EDM, House, IDM, Leftfield, Breakbeat, Industrial) and more acoustic or guitar-driven (Indie Rock, Synthpop, Post-Punk) production.
