Trusted teacher: I'm a DJ, producer, and composer. I've been making music since I was very young. I specialised in electronic music quite early on and now make it my profession. I also compose music for different types of media such as commercials, video game music, etc. Passionate about DJing above all else, it's behind the decks that I get my kicks the most, and I'd be delighted to pass on my passion! I have my own style of music, but would be more than happy to adapt to yours for learning purposes. --- I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc. --- About the course: Sessions last 1 or 2 hours, depending on your needs, and can be done in groups of 2-3 people. It's friendly, less expensive, more dynamic in terms of learning and interesting because you get to observe another student practicing, which leads to questions and realisations. . The course can also be done in 1-1 if you're more at ease solo, and for more effective learning centred on you and your pace. I have been teaching for over 5 years and have taught a range of subjects including English Language, Politics and Sociology. I have worked in language schools in both Hamburg and Berlin as well as English state schools. I am a Cambridge University certified language teacher (CELTA) and have a postgraduate degree in education from the University of Cambridge where I was awarded the Lowman's prize for English from my college. I have taught a range of language levels from beginners to advanced and always try to foreground my learner's knowledge and interests. I also have lots of experience teaching business English and preparing students for examinations. I always aim to construct my teaching around the needs and desires of my students, but frequently use a discursive method for teaching as this is generally the end goal of learning any language. I believe people learn best when they are enjoying themselves, so try to find out about my students, what their interests are and then find suitable reading and discussion materials to help them engage with the learning process. I am very interested in social questions, philosophy, arts and culture, film, literature and people's personal life experiences. I so enjoyed my class with Deborah! Immediately from when I first went in, I felt very comfortable. It was a really fun session, we went through different songs that I like, for her to get a feeling for my voice.
