I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). However, all this knowledge is only valuable if it can be effectively communicated. As you know, communication is an essential aspect of teaching. There are teachers who can be uninteresting, and then there are others whose passion is contagious. I have often observed that teachers who manage to ignite their students' interest take the time to provide context for what they teach. During a mathematics or scientific branch course, the student has specific questions or subjects to address (ranging from compulsory school to the end of the gymnasium in maturity/reinforced math) in order to fill in the gaps in the subject . If he wants to get ahead of the program or needs help with homework/exercises, this is also possible.

As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. This course is intended for people who want tutoring or special help in order to prepare for the matriculation exams, or even those at university. I teach all school math subjects, as well as college-level analysis and algebra. If you need support in your lessons or your school exams I would be happy to prepare you and allow you to improve quickly. I can also allow you to get ahead of your program and learn mathematical concepts at university level (up to the second year of engineering school). My experience with university and college students allows me to easily adapt my pedagogy to all levels in order to get the best out of it. Hi Everyone, I'm working as a researcher in nuclear fusion at EPFL, after a PhD at EPFL, a masters at ETH in Zurich and a bachelors in Freiburg, I got quite proficient in maths and physics. I have quite some experience in teaching, and gave lessons to all ages from highschool to university level.

FOR WHOM, FOR WHAT: This course aims to provide a framework for the preparation of future students at EPFL. Many students are preparing for the start of the new school year at EPFL, but many of them are lost and don't know where to start. Some drag gaps from gymnasium/college with them, which prevent them from starting to learn/relearn math and physics and prepare well for the start of the school year. In this course, I propose to supervise the student in his preparation. This course is adapted to the level in mathematics (standard and advanced) and physics (standard) of all sections of EPFL*. CONTENTS : The course aims to adapt to the needs of the student. In particular, it is common to: - resume gym/college classes -identify and address remaining gym/college gaps - Fly over new subjects (the goal being not to be surprised when introducing them to the university) -Work on certain subjects in advance -Develop a work strategy and get organized -Share experience/give advice -Present the exam modalities (within the limits of my knowledge) Note that the courses are flexible.
