Trusted teacher: A graduate of EDHEC Business School and an independent teacher for four years, I offer supervision of dissertations in French and English, whether research or professional, throughout the year. I help prepare both the written report and the oral defense. ✦✦✦ Methodology ✦✦✦ - The first session aims to frame the subject, define the problem and set objectives and a schedule according to the time allotted - I then help you build a structured plan, select a good bibliography and structure your ideas. I also give you a series of theoretical resources based on your subject and guide you in carrying out your field surveys (creation of surveys, writing of interviews, benchmarks, etc.) - I carry out a final overall proofreading before submitting the dissertation - We then work on the oral defense: first the preparation of the written support (PowerPoint, Prezi) then in the form of mock orals. I followed around forty dissertations in the sector of commerce, CSR, marketing, real estate, human resources, communication. Some dissertations were “professional” dissertations that focused on a specific company. The students I followed last year had the following grades: Léa: 14, Cassandre 16, Zoé 13, Vincent 15, Lucas 17, Claire 18, Nathalie 14, Martin 15, Maeva 14, Jade 16 I charge for all lessons given. Do not hesitate to contact me ! Important clarification: I do not write your dissertation for you, I support you as best as possible in its development and writing.

Trusted teacher: Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy. I look forward to meeting you.

Certified French tutor in Paris and online (Paris)
Andrey
I have been working with Andrey for about 2 months now, and I have to say he has been instrumental in my language learning journey. I have been working with him in different time zones across the world, and he has always been game to make something work -either taking appointments in the early afternoon, or the evenings. His understanding of French grammar and pronunciation, as well as his second to none note-taking skills, have allowed me to work on the parts of the French language that I struggle with most. He does all this while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable environment, where I feel ok to take things slower when I need to and transition back to English when necessary. It is honestly a pleasure to work with someone who understands how to teach the language to a native English speaker and has the materials to offer during the learning journey as well. No comment he gives, goes without thought, and I am thrilled to be working with someone who cares as much as I do about me becoming more comfortable with French.

Cécile
If you are looking for a French language teacher, I highly recommend Cecile 😊 One of the best things about her teaching approach is that she customizes the method to the student’s particular learning needs. She starts by assessing your level, goals, and learning preferences and then designs the lessons based on this. Something else that I appreciate about Cecile is that she uses a wide array of teaching materials, not leaving space for boredom or an incomplete understanding of a topic. She incorporates texts, videos, audio, fun quizzes, and exercises from different sources and genres, covering various aspects of the French language and culture. She also encourages to practice comprehensively - speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a balanced way. All in all, if you are after a comprehensive approach to learning and practicing French, this is the right tutor for you!

Kevin
Kevin is a genius, who is capable of breaking down complex concepts into manageable, useful bits. If you think of a really large basket of vegetables and fruits. You know all the nutrients are good for you, but it would be tedious to try to eat it all raw. But then, you get a juicer or blender or 'Nutribullet', and juice all those vegetables and fruits into a refreshing smoothie. You can then drink that smoothie as quickly or slowly as you wish, and still get all the necessary nutrients... That's what Kevin can do - he juices all the complex intricacies of the German language into something you can understand and digest. His methods are unconventional, but very helpful in laying a proper foundation for a successful language learning journey. Very highly recommended.
