Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. My approach The basis is the construction of a holistic musical personality, an individual approach. I help students express themselves and captivate listeners. This includes, in addition to all types of technique, ear training and music theory, also more general psychological skills and abilities related to your personality, such as, for example, artistry and musicality. In this sense, the student and teacher's understanding of themselves and music plays a major role; serious attention is paid to psychological processes in the lesson, since they are the most important part of the student's progress. Elements of psychoanalysis are included in the work (I have more than 7 years of experience in personal analysis). Unfortunately, teachers almost always do not know how to work in this area, which significantly worsens the quality of classes. In lessons, I start from your goals, desires and level, you can choose your repertoire and pace of learning together with me. Lessons are adapted to the age, level and tasks of the student - an individual approach. With students who study professionally, they are distinguished by greater intensity, the presence of exam lessons. With children, a minimum of theoretical discussions and a maximum of play. I am a diploma winner of the Moscow Piano Competition of Romantic Music (2018), and also a multiple participant in various concerts with solo and ensemble programs. Trusted teacher: Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. I am an adult student and I highly recommend Lydia for all ages and all levels. An exceptional teacher that provides and exceptional lesson experience.

Eda
Eda is a fabulous teacher with a real gift for teaching! I'm so thrilled that we happened to find her for our daughter — in the first lesson alone, she was able to demystify a grand piano for a small child and introduced concepts of rhythm and tone through play. Her approach to music feels magical and filled with wonder, and by the end of the 45 minutes I couldn't help but ask whether Eda also teachers adults (she does!), because I want her as my teacher as well!
