Hello there, my name is Mary and I am a recent graduate of Leiden University with an MA in International Relations. Regarding my background, I am a native English speaker due to my upbringing in the United States and I received an excellent 6/7 grade in my English A HL course with an IB diploma in high school. I am eager to teach English to any learner and I have previous experience teaching English as a volunteer. With my lessons, I will utilize a variety of tools to comprehensively improve the student’s grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. I specialize in tutoring in Engish Literature and ESL students and/or in school, and preparing for the SAT, GED, GRE and GMAT exams. My objective is to keep students motivated and challenged at the same time. I assign homework after every lesson and provide progress reports each week. If needed, I will provide a workbook for those that have trouble with grammar or anything else. This lesson is for those that are having trouble with speaking, writing or reading in English, English Literature or even need help with an upcoming test (solely depends on their preference).
