Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. Composition Lessons: As a classical composer, my work spans orchestral, chamber, and jazz ensemble writing, with commissions from leading arts organisations and orchestras - recent commissions include the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. My lessons focus on notation, orchestration, and arranging—whether you’re composing for small ensembles or larger-scale works. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy. Learn to play to decipher scores and improvise by ear or by reading and analyzing chord charts. This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. This course also includes a thorough introduction to harmony.

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player. I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor. I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco. In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso. I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe. I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop. I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3). As a promoter Geni has been running, and raising funding for, Liverpool's 'Parrjazz' for 13 years, promoting UK jazz acts such as Soweto Kinch and Go Go Penguin alongside International guests such as Snarky Puppy and Ghost - Note Geni is also a tutor at Liverpool university and WaterBear college of Music, and has worked as private mentor for many years, also on Breaking The Record, a programme created to empower women in music.

Clarinetist graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón and the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña. During my training, I have worked with great teachers who have given me a new way of seeing and loving music, which has led me to share music not only as a performer but as a teacher. As a teacher, I have experience in teaching clarinet classes, as well as music theory, musical initiation or piano initiation. In addition, I can help you with the preparation of entrance exams for both professional and advanced degrees. I have worked in several music academies with children and adults. Therefore, I offer weekly private classes as personalized as possible, always adapting to the needs and abilities of the students. Are you up for it?

I teach instrumental lessons (face to face from my Music Studio and online) on flute, piano, singing, saxophone and clarinet, as well as music theory. I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet. I have experience as a Music Teacher and Lecturer for schools and colleges, so I also offer help with GCSE and A-Level Music. I attend regular Safeguarding training and I have an advanced DBS on the update service. I also have experience working with children who have special educational needs and EHCP’s. Learning music and an instrument as well as being part of a group or ensemble, is about much more than becoming a performer. The skills and techniques learnt, are incredibly versatile for use in other subjects as well as being valuable life skills. I choose repertoire of various genres for students to explore different sounds and styles, with some being quicker to learn but effective, to build a more instant satisfaction and confidence within the group, while other pieces are more technical, allowing students to challenge themselves. As well as being a solo Flautist, Singer, and Saxophonist, I am part of an acoustic Classical Flute and Guitar duo, a Folk duo, a Jazz ensemble and a Folk Rock band, performing at weddings, private functions, festivals and events.

A graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Jazz), I have been involved in music my whole life, and a freelance professional since 2022.
