Gunther gives very clear explanations, puts you at ease right away and listens to what you as a student want to learn and be able to do. He breathes music and knows what he is talking about!

What can I say about Gunter's teaching? It is professional, relaxed and very clear. Coffee included. Gunter knows exactly how to master a bass guitar and tries to convey this to you. This applies not only to the musical aspect, but also to the style and execution. His refined technique and sense of rhythm are remarkable. Definitely recommended to take lessons with him.

I have not actually taken a lesson yet because of corona doubts on my part, but I have always informed Gunter via your site, I am already giving this score because I had a very positive experience with Gunter before my incident, so I will plan lessons very quickly with Gunter, but I will see if it is possible on Saturdays because that will suit my work better. Thanks in advance and best regards, Tas Michel

Improvisation for beginners and intermediates (any instrument)For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease.
If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session.
Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
