Personal guidance in mathematics and statistics / Tutoring in math and statistics
*English below* Hello! My name is Sanne (23) and I am a master student in Molecular Life Sciences. In the laboratory I come into contact with mathematics a lot and I like to transfer my knowledge of the subject to others. I also have a background in statistics, so I can help with mathematics A, B and C (mathematics D and vwo 6 in consultation, depending on the subject), from vmbo to upper secondary havo/vwo. Sometimes I can also help with statistics and mathematics at the university or at the mbo, but this also depends on the subject. I have experience with tutoring in chemistry, biology, reading comprehension and mathematics. I always do my best to tailor my lessons to the specific needs of each student. Leave a message if you are interested and I will contact you as soon as possible. Hello! My name is Sanne (23), and I'm a master's student in Biomolecular Sciences. In the laboratory, I apply quite a lot of mathematics, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the subject with others. I also have a strong background in statistics, so I can tutor students in math A, B, and C from vmbo to year 5 of vwo (please contact me for math D and year 6 vwo, I might be able to help depending on the topic). Sometimes I can help with statistics courses and mathematics in university, but this again depends on the topic. I have some prior experience tutoring chemistry, biology, and mathematics. I aim to tailor my lessons to the needs of each student. Feel free to leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Probability and Statistics
Hello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching. In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs. In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics Tutoring for Highschool students
As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course. Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions. As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.

Enjoy learning Dutch
As a certified NT2 teacher (Dutch for speakers of other languages), I respond to your wishes in learning the Dutch language. We first look together at where you are, what your goals are and how you like to learn. The most important thing for me is that learning the language is fun and that you can use the language with confidence. I have several years of experience in teaching both young people and adults and people with fear of failure/speaker anxiety. As a certified Dutch teacher I will adapt to your wishes when it comes to learning the Dutch language. We will first talk about your language level, what to start with, what your goals are, and in which ways you would like to learn. For me it is most important that you will experience learning Dutch as enjoyable, and that you will be able to use/start using the language with confidence. I have taught Dutch for several years to both children and adults, and people with a fear of failure/fear of speaking.

German/English classes for beginners/intermediates
Hey there! I am a native German speaker with a strong academic background in both German and English. I excelled in my German advanced course during high school and achieved a perfect score of 15/15 points in my final English exams. Afterward, I spent a year living in Australia, which further honed my English skills and gave me valuable insights into the language's practical use. In my interactive lessons, we will focus on actively speaking German and English, as I believe this is the most effective way to learn a language. My approach is dynamic and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring that you not only understand the grammar and vocabulary but also gain the confidence to use the language in real-life situations. Let’s make learning fun and practical together!

Spanish/Catalan/English Lessons for all levels in Groningen or remote
Spanish and/or Catalan lessons for all ages and levels of experience. Depending on your needs I will adapt the lessons so you can enjoy the experience of learning to speak, read, write and think in these languages, a key element for perseverance! Learning a language isn't simply about learning a set of rules but a whole window into another culture, so keeping that in mind while enjoying the learning process is vital; I try to integrate this idea into the lessons, aware that Spanish in itself is a complex language. Whether you're preparing for official exams, simply would like to improve your conversational skills, or get started from scratch, I would love to help out! About me: I'm a native Spanish/Catalan speaker from Barcelona, with certified proficiency in English (if you're Spanish/Catalan and need to improve your English we can also work in that direction). I'm currently based in Groningen, so I can either come to your location or work online.
