Through weekly individual lessons, you will develop skills of listening to, understanding, and playing music either as beginners, students preparing for entrance exams, or adult amateur pianists.
After finishing studies at four conservatories around Europe (Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, and The Netherlands), I am pursuing a musical career based in The Hague. Eight years of teaching experience allow me to adapt the teaching process to the individual needs of the student and my active concert career keeps my enthusiasm fresh.

About Me
I am a Slovenian pianist and teacher, currently residing in The Netherlands. My explorations of music have left me with a broad repertoire, stretching from 18th to 21st century. My interest lies in complexity of music and searching for poeticism and aesthetics, based on honesty rather than previously set out rules.I studied Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and the Netherlands with renowned teachers Naum Grubert, Ruben Dalibaltayan, Hinko Haas and members of Trio di Parma. I received Prešern prize and Diploma Summa cum Laude from Academy of Music in Ljubljana for outstanding musical achievements during studies.
As a soloist with orchestras, I have performed, among others with Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Ljubljana Opera and Ballet Orchestra and Valerius Orchestra, The Hague. I play on numerous recitals in Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Spain and Romania, among others with internationally successful musicians, such as Tibor Molnar, Joachim Eijlander, Gilles Apap. The longest standing chamber group, I play in, is Piano Trio GUD, which has been playing many concerts around Europe for the last ten years.
I have competed on many competitions – as a chamber musician and a soloist and am prizewinner of Alberto Bertolini piano competition in Milan (2014), Cammeristi dell’ Alpe-Adria in Majano, Italy (2014), International Chamber music competition in Bled, Slovenia (2010) and many others.
My career so far has given me a unique perspective on the art of mentoring
young musicians. I have learned about the importance of the balance between guiding the students and letting them explore; the balance between the rational, explained through analysis of pieces, performance principles, etc. and the intuitive, which is emphatically transmitted through examples; and the balance between physical and spiritual aspects of musicianship

Piano Lessons, Composition, Harmony and ImprovisationStudying music requires developing various skills and techniques, such as practicing an instrument, understanding harmony, or reading sheet music. The piano is one of the few instruments that allows you to work on these aspects—and many more—all at the same time!
My name is Federico, and I am a jazz pianist. With me, you can explore the endless possibilities the piano has to offer, focusing on any topic you wish to delve into and any musical genre that resonates with you. Together, we’ll work on instrument mastery, sheet music reading, chord construction, improvisation, composition, and arrangement.
And that’s just the beginning!
I’d be thrilled to create a personalized lesson plan tailored to your interests and musical tastes, whether it’s mastering a song you love or refining one of your own original compositions!
Rui
Piano and Music Theory lessons in The Hague and VoorburgHello there!
Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood.
I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument!
Lessons
Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions.
I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation.
You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around.
When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun.
I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation.
At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing.
About me
Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020.
I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music.
I hope this motivates you to study piano with me! Looking forward to seeing you soon during your first lesson!

Piano, solfedgio and theory lessons for the beginners and professionalsTo learn how to play piano is never too late! I have 15 years of experience in teaching students from the age of 5 until 80. Amateurs and professional musicians, all levels.
Diverse repertoire, from light pop to the classic.
I graduated Tchaikovsky conservatory in Moscow and Royal conservatory in the Hague.
I have 2 master degrees as a solo pianist, chamber soloist and piano teacher. I started to teach piano when I was 15 as a part of a school programme but my biggest experience I got here in the Netherlands.
I have students with such a different background in music: amateurs, professionals, kids, adults. I am trying to find a personal approach to every student and make the process of learning more interesting and inspiring. I teach but I also learn a lot from my students.
For example, I have a lot of students above 65 years old and they changed my vision and inspired me too. Now I see that it is never too late to start learning to play piano.
For the first lesson you (student) don’t need to bring anything. But if you are not a beginner of course it would be nice to play something what you have learned before.
The lessons are possible in Dutch, English and Russian depending on what is more convenient and comfortable for the student.

Saxophone, Piano, Music Theory Teaching and CoachingI am currently studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium, on the classical saxophone department, but I also play the piano for 12 years. I offer individual music lessons, coaching. I aim to have students challenged, motivated, but not overwhelmed. I take extra care to find out the students own learning tempo, and adjust the material to it.
Giorgia
Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any levelI teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.
I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional educationFrom my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons,
cultural studies.
During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant.
My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis).
So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
