I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. The "Mathematics for Students" course is designed to strengthen skills in key areas of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, analytical geometry, trigonometry, and differential calculus. Through a practical and theoretical approach, participants will learn to solve equations, understand functions, apply geometric theorems, and use trigonometry tools in real-world problems.

I have a PhD in physics. I have several years of experience at various tutoring agencies. I always start by going over the theory, after which I work out a number of exercises together with the student. Afterwards I let the student do exercises themselves and correct where necessary. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I continue to work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give them tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. Once the student has mastered the exercises from the lesson, I give some more challenging exercises to also test on the deeper understanding of the subject matter. In this way I try to optimally prepare the student for his / her test or exam. However, learning should also be enjoyable.
