Buongiorno a tutti e benvenuti! A native Italian speaker, I am passionate about literature, poetry and travel. I completed my study in Italy where I obtained my degree in economics at the University of Perugia. Dynamic and eclectic in nature, I have been giving Italian lessons to adults and children since I was young. With children, the goal is for the student to feel comfortable, enjoy mastering the Italian language and working well. With adults, we can work on both oral and written expression (grammar, spelling, vocabulary) according to your needs. You can bring your equipment or I will make it available according to your level or that of your child.

I have lived in Italy and Spain for a total of 18 years, and have returned to live in Japan since 2024. In Spain, I taught Japanese to Spaniards for 10 years. I am currently still teaching online. I am an associate researcher in Italian archaeology at Lausanne University with experience in teaching Italian to foreigners. Hello everyone! I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy. I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
