Welcome! I teach Dutch (both for children, high school students and students) Do you have difficulty with Dutch, do you want some extra explanation or prepare an oral together? Then you've come to the right place! It does not matter whether you are in the first year or whether you already have to take your final exam. I can help you in all areas of Dutch (reading, writing, spelling, grammar, literature). You are also welcome as a student. For example for writing advice, setting up research etc. You are welcome at my home, send me an e-mail and we can get started in the short term.

This class, specifically, is for people who are not native Dutch speakers and wish to sharpen their skills. The level you are on now does not matter, if anything, the less you know the more room there is for improvement! I have been tutoring and teaching Dutch for quite some time and have therefore gained a significant amount of experience. I am very much willing to take the time and make you grow step by step. Or, if by any chance, you need one-time help with for example an assignment then this is fine too!

I am a university student and I would like to tutor girls online to support them at secondary level. You can contact me if you have difficulty with learning or for example projects and homework. I would like to briefly discuss your wish(s) at the beginning. My availability is not always the same, so what is stated below may change. I can help with various subjects. I have more than 40 years of experience with the English language, have lived in South West England for > 16 years and worked for many years in business in both the UK and the Netherlands. With a lot of hands-on experience with the language and internally improving the language use of international colleagues (Thailand, Philippines, Dutch, etc.), I now also have a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate and have now focused on teaching. I also enjoy teaching and tutoring in the Dutch language for non-native speakers and am happy to help you broaden your knowledge of not only the language but also Dutch customs and traditions.

These lessons are specially designed for people who have no or very limited knowledge of Dutch. The lessons are very practically designed so that you memorize the vocabulary easily and quickly. These lessons are designed for all ages, the approach is always very individual. For children this is learning through play, for adults more conversational exercises. The lessons can be scheduled flexibly. For July, August and September I’m available the whole weak and every hour between 11 and 23 Brussels time.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

Are you preparing for the civic integration exam/ het inburgeringsexamen? I would be happy to help you pass the exam successfully. We will use practice exams to get you more comfortable with the questions and I'll give you tips. We will also look into the grammar points that are necessary for the exam. We will work on all 4 aspects: speaking skills, writing skills. reading skills and listening skills.
