I study at the Leuven Conservatory and offer dynamic and motivating lessons for all ages. I tailor my pedagogical approach to the different profiles and ambitions of my students, in order to meet their expectations as best as possible. Whether you want to start playing the violin, refine your technique, pick it up again after a long break, play at a high level or just enjoy music for fun, then this course is for you!

Have you always wanted to learn to play the violin or start over? Then you've come to the right place! I am a Belgian violinist, 25 years old, who obtained her master's degree in violin and chamber music at the Lemmens Institute last year. As a violin teacher, the fun of the students is central. With a stimulating and motivated approach, we take on new challenges by looking together for a beautiful sound, musicality, relaxation and suitable repertoire. I cater to the interests of each student. I want to make you curious about the instrument and show you all the possibilities of the violin. I have already gained experience in youth music studios, part-time art education and private. Lessons can be given at my home in Leuven or Roeselare.

Hello! I am a violin student with Elisa Kawaguti at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens and am currently doing my master's degree. In my lessons, I think it is most important that students have fun and feel good about themselves, which will hopefully motivate them to improve technically and musically at their own pace. If there are students who would like to have lessons during the holidays, I am happy to do so, as I used to think it was a shame that the lessons stopped then. Looking forward to meeting you! Always wanted to play the violin, but it never happened? Years of your violin not touched and now the will to pick it up again? You are never too old to learn it or to pick it up again! I am a violinist from Hungary - I have completed my Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of Debrecen, and in the meantime I have given violin lessons in various music schools in Hungary. I have played actively in various professional orchestras. From this year I started the Artistic Master's program at the Lemmens Institute. Since my first year at the university I teach private lessons, I have experience with both children and adults. I can teach in English, Dutch, French and Hungarian. I am also following Norwegian classes, and I can give it a try in Norwegian as well.

I am an enthusiastic professional violinist and teacher. I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre! Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc. Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :) All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done! My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! All is being done with gentle care towards your body's physiology and feelings, and consideration of your learning style. :)) Finally, I'm at your disposal in between the lessons, answering to any questions you might have and offering you support and guidance with your new insights! :D

Dear students, My name is Giacomo and I hold two Master of Arts in Music Performance, one in Rome and one from the "Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste" in Zurich. During my class lessons you'll learn the wonderful art of playing the violin, an incredible instrument! I have many years of experience with teaching, I do private lessons and I have worked as a teacher for "Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy in Lugano" for several years. As a teacher my goal is to bring out the best version of my students, using their individual strenghts, which are different for each of them. It's a pleasure for me to teach to anybody who wants even just to discover the art of playing the violin. As a pedagogue, after one month experience in a meditation retreat in Thailand, my approach involves not only focusing on the technical development of the instrument but also paying close attention to the physical and mental well-being of my students. With 27 years of experience as a violin teacher, artist and composer, I transmit my love of music in a creative, playful and holistic way. I have developed a method that adapts to each student according to their needs, levels and desires. I attach great importance to creating a caring and relaxed atmosphere where the student can flourish and develop both a solid technique and learn self-confidence. We will also discuss how to work efficiently and calmly and we will develop the qualities necessary to express yourself freely with your instrument. We will talk about musicality, physical well-being (the importance of breathing!), attentive listening and we will take the time to explore while having fun. If necessary, the basics of music theory will be learned gradually. Although I have a classical background I enjoy teaching a variety of music (Celtic, folk, klezmer, tango, jazz, films...) and I encourage my students to discover the most beautiful melodies in the repertoire and sometimes even to improvise or compose together. I often play chamber music (piano/violin) or violin duets with my students. Hi! I'm Patricia, a passionate violinist originally from Spain. I have a strong background and experience to give the perfect mix of knowledge and excitement to my teaching. I've taught in both schools and music academies, working with students of all ages. Whether it's kids or adults, I aim to make learning enjoyable and supportive. I also love all kinds of music! Although my studies are mainly classical, I can teach any style depending on the student's needs and preferences. I currently dedicate myself to perform concerts with my string quartet.
