Maths for High School Students (GCSEs, A-Levels, etc)

Greetings! I am a geospatial analyst at Transport for London and I specialise in running statistical analysis in R and Python, as well as analysing large sets of data and building and running Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through different technologies. As part of my specialisation, I teach and assist early and mid-career individuals with data science and statistics, including the programming languages Python and R. I would be more than happy to help with specific projects the students have in mind, if applicable. Develop your math skills with Beginner Math! This class will take us through basic math skills useful for every level - from fractions to set theory, you will learn how to manipulate numbers and comfortably navigate formulas, applying your learning to real world situations. I have created this class to examine the rules of math, and you will gain a deep understanding of the purpose of math, as well as a slow and steady pace to take you at a comfortable speed. All you need is an attitude and a calculator!

Math is not your thing? Well, don't stress out. I'm here to help! For students who major in science related class, this is a must-go experience. Physics might confuse people as well. You can get them all solved here with me. I hope you'll have fun with me learning;)

I can help students in mathematics and French as I have been studying in the MSc Mathematics at UCL.

We will structure our work based on the student’s request. If the goal is to improve school grades and gain a better understanding of the school curriculum in mathematics, we will review the topics covered in class during our lessons. We will focus on the areas that are most challenging and unclear. Throughout the lesson, we will go through typical tasks from the classroom. If the student wants to improve their general understanding of mathematics, we will create a personalized lesson plan and follow it.
