I am here to provide piano lessons for classical music and pop music. Coming from Hong Kong and educated in the Academy of Performing Arts (HKAPA), I am a University student in the University of Luxembourg and I am very eager to share the joy of music making. This class is for any enthusiasts who might be interested in learning the piano starting from scratch, furthering their technique in piano, or even to learn just to improvise on the piano. I can also provide lessons on Musical Theory, whether for exams or personal interest. I hold a LTCL Diploma in Piano Recital with a Distinction. I also hold a certificate with merits in the ABRSM Grade 8 Theory Exam. My time is flexible. I am willing to travel medium distances as long as it is reasonable and within Luxembourg. My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.
