I got 9 grade 9s in my GCSEs that I completed in 2023, 4 As in my AS levels that I took this year and I have tutored various students in the past few years. You can choose one of the following three part as your learning content Chinese daily conversation: You will be introduced to the basics of the Chinese language, its structure, and its unique features, including the writing system, tones, and grammar. We will explore the evolution of written Chinese, from oracle bone script to modern Mandarin, and highlight its influence on East Asia and the world. Special attention will be paid to the complexity and beauty of Chinese characters, as well as the ways in which language reflects culture. Chinese Literature: This part of the course will provide an overview of China’s literary heritage, ranging from ancient poetry and classical novels to modern works. Key texts, such as the Book of Songs, Tao Te Ching, Journey to the West, and works by influential modern authors like Lu Xun, will be analyzed in terms of their historical context, thematic concerns, and artistic styles. You will also explore how literature has been a vehicle for cultural identity, social critique, and the preservation of Chinese values over centuries. Chinese Philosophy: We will examine the profound philosophical traditions that have emerged from China, including Confucianism, Daoism, Legalism, and Buddhism. Through studying classic texts like Confucius' Analects, Laozi’s Dao De Jing, and the writings of influential thinkers such as Zhuangzi and Sunzi, you will gain insight into Chinese concepts of morality, politics, nature, and the self. We will also explore how these philosophical ideas continue to impact modern China and influence global thought.

Through History and Philosophy classes you will be able to explore the development of human thoughts and how these thoughts have caused historical events, which have shaped our society over time and continue to do so. In History class you will study events, moments and figures from different time periods and will player the impact they have on today. In Philosophy class you will delve into fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, ethics and the nature of reality. These classes will help you become more advanced in these subjects and will provide you with with the tools you will need to pass your exams.

I have taken a few years off to complete my PhD in History and I would not like to stop teaching and learning in the meantime. I guess it is a cliché, but it is amazing what I have learned by teaching. I am Laila, a graduate of the Higher School of Teachers. I want to share with you my previous experience in the field of teaching and teaching you the Arabic language and all its sciences. We will not rely only on theoretical lessons, but we will work on applying exercises that help us understand the linguistic phenomenon or the lesson in general.

My teaching method goes beyond memorization, because I believe that it is necessary to learn any subject from understanding and thus develop learning, to apply it in an exam or work done during the course. My goal is to get students to have an active attitude both in class and when preparing for a test. I am a person who is passionate about learning and sharing my knowledge, not just for an exam. I also believe that if you are able to foster interest in any subject, the results are achieved organically. My system is to make the content understood in a didactic way and to awaken interest in said content.

With this course you will learn study techniques to apply to any subject. How to organize your work, tools for outlining and much more. Studying is not just about sitting at your desk and starting to memorize; there are some previous steps to take.

I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.
