Albanian as a language is very distinguishable as it has its own branch in the Indo-Europian language tree. It is an ancient language transferred from the Illyrians who lived in the Balkan peninsula. As it is my native language, I have always helped and tutored people who are ethnically Albanian but have been raised outside of Kosovo or Albania and do not have a complete understanding of their mother tongue. Together, we will focus on all fundamentals, including the core bases of Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Throughout lessons, we will practice together with additional homework. I am a native speaker of Greek. I graduated from a Greek high school and, later, the University of Athens where I attended courses in pedagogics, psychology, and linguistics. During our lessons, I'll help you develop your skills (oral/written, and not only). I'll also try to help you improve your pronunciation and spelling. I assign homework and after I receive it, correct it thoroughly additionally providing a lot of remarks/examples if they are necessary. I worked at a language center between 2009-2016 where I was a director of studies and taught mainly English as a foreign/second language. Since 2005, when I first started teaching Greek, I have taught children and adults on a variety of language proficiency levels, mainly individually. I constantly seek progress, meaning that I study further through reading books/articles concerning didactics/methodology and learning difficulties (chiefly dyslexia), observing other teachers as well as attending seminars (online or face-to-face).
