If you are looking to do ABRSM instrumental exams, you will need to pass grade 5 music theory in order to progress to grade 6 in your instrumental exams, therefore I will be able to guide you to passing your grade 5 theory paper and beyond. I am also a professional freelance musician and conductor, for anyone interested in conducting, we can discuss how to approach a score in relation to this.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. Many people love the accordion and would like to learn how to play it. We can start from the beginning and learn many interesting things about the instrument, music theory, play beautiful songs in different styles of music. I teach button accordion. Graduated from the Music Academy, play the accordion more than 25 years. How to harmonise your song, correct using of chords, what are chords and how to use them e.t.c. This knowledge is the base of the base to start to move on in your music journey.
