As an industrial engineer, I have been teaching these subjects since 2008: - Preparation for the CEB. - Preparation for CE1D. - Preparation for the CESS/Baccalaureate (European French). - Preparation for central jury exams. - Preparation for entrance exams in engineering/medical schools. - Preparation for EPSO/SELOR tests (numerical/abstract). - University level: mathematics, mineral chemistry, physics, mechanics, resistance of materials, electricity, electronics (analogue/digital/industrial). - Private or group lessons, I adapt to all situations. An experienced teacher, I tailor my course on the specific needs of my students, so they can reach the desired level in math/physics/chemistry as quickly as possible. About : An engineer by background ("ingénieur civil"), I have become an education professional with a significant experience teaching math, physics and chemistry both in the classroom (lycée Mater Dei, Woluwé-Saint-Pierre), and outside the classroom. Since my third year of bachelor in engineering, I have tutored at university various courses (Mathematics, Electricity, Computer Science, Physics and Projects) for students in Bachelor and Master. I have also given private lessons for three years in an academy (Academia Mentis) to groups of high school students (1 to 4 people). Moreover I have started for more than two years with Blocus Assistant to supervise and help university students to prepare their exams ("blocus") in the scientific and engineering fields. Finally for a year, I have been researcher and assistant in applied mathematics at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL).

I have to start by admitting something to you: in high school, I had very bad grades in math. I spent a long time telling myself that a scientific career was not for me. When I decided to try engineering anyway, I had to relearn everything from scratch, by myself. At the beginning I would have been quite incapable of passing a second humanity level exam. Months of hard, self-taught work pushed me to develop a working method focused on deep understanding of a subject rather than just withholding information. Through this private lesson project I dream of being the person I would have needed a few years ago, a person who in addition to allowing the student to succeed, transmits the motivation to learn. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him once. If you teach him to fish, he will eat all his life."

I am currently a full-time teaching assistant in chemistry at UCLouvain for science, bioengineering and management engineering students for 6 years. I also hold the aggregation of upper secondary education. I teach individuals in chemistry by adapting as best as possible to your level by starting as much as possible from the basics which often pose the most problems. I take pleasure in trying to make this subject more understandable, which, it must be admitted, is rather unique and complex. I also try to make chemistry concepts more perceptible using concrete examples of their usefulness. I usually work in two-hour lessons with a break in the middle and provide additional exercises to do at home to optimize learning. I teach classes in English or French. My name is Lorenzo and I offer tutoring for all level and age, up to the Master's degree lever, for Maths, Physics and Engineering. Since then, I have had the opportunity to help several students in their journey from the first secondary to the first year of university.
