My name is Helen. I lived abroad for over 25 years: in Great Britain where I taught FLE, then in Belgium where I worked with European institutions on projects, and finally in Italy for 20 years where I was called upon to teach FLE at the University of Turin and where, at the same time, I directed cultural projects linked to French-speaking literature at a local institution, il Circolo dei Lettori. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
