Hello there! My name is Antek and i'm a cellist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Hello! My name is Bjørk and I’m a professional double bass player living and teaching here in Amsterdam. I have 2 diplomas in Jazz Bass from Sweden and a degree in Jazz Bass Performance from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I love teaching and I have taught since 2016. And I love the bass! I teach double bass, electric bass, composition, improvisation and music theory. I have experience teaching complete beginners with zero prior musical knowledge to more advanced players. During my oboe lessons, enjoying music is central. The double reed plays an important role in both the sound and the ease of playing the oboe. I make sure there is always a reed that plays nicely. In addition, I will pay a lot of attention to the way of blowing. This is the basis that ensures that the students can have fun and make music right from the start. . Making music together is the best thing there is, so I like to play along with the students in a duet. I guide advanced students in developing their (musical) creativity and, if they wish, I offer reed lessons. In these lessons I give tips for updating reeds and explain all the steps of the reed making process.

The basic course takes you through all the elements you need to professionally write and produce music; with specialties ranging from record production to writing for media i.e. T.V and film. Learn all the pitfalls and save yourself years of pain! :) Skills I take you through are: 1. Music finishing; e.g. lyrics, arrangements, programming drums and synth parts. 2. Performance and recording techniques - setting up microphones, and hands on exploring the different types and 'colours' they record. How to record real synths and find the correct sounds for your music. Re-amping guitars and anything else to give your music more life! 3. Mixing; Using Pro Tools HD, Logic and Ableton, an SSL mixer with lots of classic 'outboard' equipment as well as the latest plugins on board the computer. 4. Mastering; The final stage of releasing music is making it sounds amazing on all systems. A course is tailor-made to suit the desire of the student - from recording and releasing your own music, to film audio post-production and sound design and everything else in-between. I have more than 30 years in the music industry, previously working at BBC Radio 1/1xtra station, and also at Jools Holland's Helicon Mountain studios in West London. I am eager to share what I have learnt over the years in a really friendly environment - it's perfect to take home all the knowledge you need to write from anywhere in the coming years.

If you’re interested in learning the flute and/ or gaining a new understanding of music through harmony, this lesson will provide that for you. If you choose to, we’ll cover technique, improvisation, reading music, tone control and expression. We’ll also go over the fundamentals of harmony to give you the tools that will help with any other instrument. Your listening skills will also be developed. All entirely up to you, of course, we’ll only go as far as you wish.

Hello! I'm Nina, a drummer from Amsterdam. I am currently studying pop/rock drums at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. I play in 2 bands. I also play in many different session projects (from pop to rock). I work a lot with hybrid drums (triggers and SPD) and also teach them with Ableton. The studio is located in the Q-Factory in Amsterdam with two professional drum kits and sound system. In addition, I can occasionally offer a lesson in Utrecht! If all this is too far or for some other reason not reachable, lessons at home and / or online are also possible! We can work on, among other things: - Hand technique (how do I hold my sticks? Or which stick technique do I use for different music styles?) Creativity (how can I ultimately make cool parts on the drums myself?
