Buongiorno a tutti e benvenuti! A native Italian speaker, I am passionate about literature, poetry and travel. I completed my study in Italy where I obtained my degree in economics at the University of Perugia. Dynamic and eclectic in nature, I have been giving Italian lessons to adults and children since I was young. With children, the goal is for the student to feel comfortable, enjoy mastering the Italian language and working well. With adults, we can work on both oral and written expression (grammar, spelling, vocabulary) according to your needs. You can bring your equipment or I will make it available according to your level or that of your child.

PhD student in comparative literature at the University of Lausanne with several years of experience in teaching languages to adolescents and adults, I offer individualized pedagogy adapted to the needs, levels and necessities of each.

I like to teach Italian by offering my students topics of conversation and reading about their interests and Italian culture. I’m also a published author of short stories, so I have all the necessary experience to fine-tune your writing. Each lesson is personalized based on the student, their learning style, and their interests. Every study plan includes grammar lessons, conversation practice, help with Italian homework and text comprehension, authentic materials of various kinds (videos, short texts, songs, articles), as well as assistance with translation and text correction in Italian.

I am currently studying at university, with psychology and art history options. The purpose of this course is to help the student to progress and to acquire the best knowledge and bases possible, through regular monitoring.

I am an associate researcher in Italian archaeology at Lausanne University with experience in teaching Italian to foreigners. I have the CEDILS certificate to teach Italian to foreigners, issued by the Itals’ Laboratory of the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice. I love to learn new languages and have always been aware of the importance of these skills in my personal development. I spent many years abroad for my studies in archaeology. This gave me the opportunity to meet different people and cultures from all over the world, and allowed me find my own way of teaching my language. When teaching Italian, I draw on all experiences that I have accumulated, in order to develop the academic and personal strengths of each student. I apply a student-centered, holistic approach with a focus on oral and written foreign language proficiency in a strong conversational curriculum. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests and availability of the student. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and put the focus on the functional aspect of the language. For beginners, I usually follow a specific program, I prepare a course and for each lesson I send students the files that I scan from the various books. Also the lessons can be essentially developed as conversations on specific subjects.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
