Hi All, thank you for checking out my course. This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul. I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work. You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

Hello, my Dear Students, My name is Olga. I am Russian and Ukrainian native speaker. Russian may seem difficult at the first sight, but I will do my best to prove it is not so hard as it seems! The class is suitable for all people (kids, students, adults) who would like to study Russian for various reasons. I always create a personal program for every student in order to satisfy different levels of Russian and adapt towards specific needs. The focus is, of course, put on studying vocabulary, grammar and most importantly speaking. The student can already say some basics starting from the first class. As soon as some basics are learned, communication will be practiced in a creative ad customized way. I will show various videos, texts and exercises to do together and provide written homework for further practice. Hi! If you have genuine interest in Russian language + want to get some insights into Russian politics and find out what’s going on there behind the iron curtain, I am happy to be your guide. Afterwards, some books are given according to age and grade level to ensure that the language and the subject become permanent in the student. We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules. We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step. Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
