I am a first class graduate in Politics and International Relations (HSPS) from the University of Cambridge (Graduated in 2023). I currently work as a writer. I can tutor early years, and have experience working with children of all ages, as a former paediatric nurse. I have read a lot of classic literature and would love to tutor students in literature, grammar, English or writing. I have advanced skills in fiction and academic writing. At a higher level I also can help with writing, politics, international relations, sociology and anthropology. I also provide Oxbridge admissions tutoring in these subjects, especially for those making contextual applications. This class covers major sociological and criminological theories, from classical frameworks to contemporary perspectives. Students will examine the works of key thinkers like Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Foucault, and others, understanding how their ideas contribute to our knowledge of society and criminal behavior. By analyzing these foundational theories, students will develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of how social forces and structures impact individual and group actions in society.

I have always loved exchanging and passing on what I have learned. My mother being a German teacher, I have always been immersed in the world of education. I started tutoring when I was in high school, and I still do today. My journey : - Mention Very Good at the ES baccalaureate - Studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Geneva - History and Spanish studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), First Class Honours. I help academically and psychologically students in History-Geography, SES and English. I explain the course in detail (if necessary), and we work on the methodology for each event, the organization and the planning of the work to be done. I can also follow your child in other subjects for the smallest classes. For example, I worked with two students in great difficulty (general average around 7-8 out of 20), and the latter obtained their baccalaureate, one of them with honors. I also worked with another student the previous year, who obtained the mention Very Good (with 19/20 in SES).

Criminology is a complex and exciting subject delving in to the scientific study of crime, criminals and deviant behaviour. I am a BA (Hons) graduate in Criminology & Criminal Justice and have just completed my MSc in Terrorism and Counter Terrorism. The class will provide an introduction to criminology, it’s underlying theories and touch on special issues such as genocide and state crimes. The study of Terrorism will also be introduced and incorporated with the Criminology teachings. You’ll learn what underpins the study of Criminology in a simplified and engaging way. There will be tasks to complete after every next class, from multiple choice questions to mini essays, with feedback provided.

This class will provide students with the necessary analytical tools and principal knowledge they need to succeed in their English, History, or Social Studies classes, on both primary and secondary levels. Coming from a background of sociological research, I have both qualitative and quantitative methodological study methods that inform my tutoring strategies and increase student's general comprehension of key concepts. Beginning with teaching core principles from assigned textbooks and syllabi (of which I independently review and use to create individual and tailored lesson plans), I also provide students with critical thinking skills, grammar lessons, and essay writing tips to ensure that they reach their academic and intellectual potential. I am presently a master's student at LSE and have six years of tutoring and teaching experience in related disciplines, as well as experience working with students with varied learning and cognitive demands.

I offer ISS courses in French at 2nd, 1st and Terminal levels. I obtained the mention TB in the Baccalaureate and the mark of 17/20 in SES. I had the opportunity to give ESS lessons to my sister and several other students in Terminale. I have experience in the preparation for the Baccalaureate of SES, in the revision of the courses, in the writing of Dissertation and in the training for the composite test. I studied Law in England and am based in London. I can also give lessons in English.

I like to structure my teaching lessons differently from most. I cater directly to the student and I realize that everyone is different. Some children will be seriously struggling with their subjects and will need me to focus on the basics and build up a foundation, whereas others will already be working at a good level and just need an extra push to get them to their goal. Whether a student is shy, unorganized, confident or even overconfident, my teaching style will be catered to them.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. This class deals with the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire from 753BC until 476AD. it is divided into two main into two main blocks these being: - 1. The pre-imperial era from the Early Monarchy until the collapse of The Roman Republic (753BC-31BC) 2. The imperial era from the Augustan settlement until the end of the Western Empire (30BC until 476AD) Each block will attempt to relate the past to the prsent by showing how many of the challenges facing The Ancient Romans are still being faced today. Attendees will also be taught practical skills such us how to critically evaluate Ancient sources. There will be a mixture of formal teaching , interactive discussion and role play. This class is a 'must' for those wishing to better understand Ancient History. They can expect to meet some larger than life characters.
