Preparation course - Preparation for the IEP competition - History

Master student at Sciences Po Lyon, I can give lessons in several subjects in maths, history, English, economics and help with homework until high school. With me, your child will learn to have a real working method so that he can eventually work independently. My lessons are prepared upstream to best suit the student and in agreement with him and the parents. I have many experiences in private lessons and tutoring. I am currently part of several school support organizations and I have several private students during the week. I have been teaching for two years now. I always adapt to the student I have. I try to understand its shortcomings and work to the maximum while consolidating its strengths. I work mostly with exercises that allow the student to face difficulties and we discuss together how best to respond to this. My horraires can be flexible depending on what you are looking for.

I offer to help you in English, HG or mathematics. Indeed, comfortable in these 3 subjects and having completed 2 years of preparatory class with very good results in the competitions, I can help you understand these concepts or even explain how to deal with subjects that you do not like. For those who do not understand anything in their history or English classes, do not worry, I'm here to help you. For history classes, it can be done in French or English, depending on level and requests. For English classes, I will promote a conversation exclusively in English, for beginners, I will adapt.

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

Different help and study depending on your interests and needs. If at school this maybe that you need help with homework. It maybe that a subject isnt as exciting as you thought and I can help. If later in life you may just have an interest, maybe shared with a group, lets create relevant study groups.

Learn the methodology in dissertation and document analysis from middle school as well as high school. This is what is present in History Geography and in the HGGSP specialty, and I offer courses aimed, in addition to helping the learning of courses in these subjects, to put it into practice in an exercise with a built methodology. It is this methodology that I teach, in order to provide the student with independence. As for speaking in public, it is necessary for the oral exams at the end of high school. I have been part of a debate group for 3 years and have acquired a certain mastery there. I am a student in high school, in the final year and I already have experience in helping with homework in my high school. I also chose the HGGSP specialty (geopolitics and political science) in second and I obtained my baccalaureate in this subject.
