In this class You would be able to get a new or refresh Your already existing knowledge about the guitar playing and music in general. My main goal is focus on Your (as a student) musical development - make Your long and short term goals and based on that reach the target. Develop Your harmonical, melodical and rhythmical senses, as well introduce You with beauty of improvisation in jazz, blues and pop music.

Any level welcome in this class. Learning songs is the beginning of the adventure, learning to play music with freedom is the lifelong journey. Improvisation does not mean we forget about technique! So, learn some saxophone, some jazz skills, and music theory in a tried-and-tested way developed over my many years of teaching. I am as passionate about improvisation as the saxophone itself, the two go together beautifully. I am Julia, a professional saxophonist originally from Montreal, Canada. I live in the Netherlands for 4 years and have a Master's degree in Music. I compose, engineer and perform music. I also love to teach, I have experiences with ages 9 to 90. The main idea of my teaching philosophy is to get the sound in your head out into the air. "Guided Fearless Music-Making" is my motto!

Hello! I’m Eleni, a singer from Greece with nearly seven years of experience teaching music. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a strong foundation or more experienced wanting to refine your skills, all lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, with the aim of building confidence and authenticity in their singing and/or develop a strong foundation on musical knowledge. For the singing lessons, we'll be covering breathing and vocal technique, interpretation along with expression and, depending on your goals, the approach we will have can be either focued on singing or holistic; including music theory, rhythmic skills and basic piano skills. Lessons are available in various styles, so whatever your musical passion, we can bring it to life together! And, having a background in jazz music, I can also help you develop your improvisation skills, giving you the freedom to explore and create your own sound! Music theory, rhythmic lessons and basic piano skills are, of course, also offered as separate courses. So if you have no idea on how to read music or you are feeling clumsy when it comes to rhythm or piano, there's no problem! We can work on this together from scratch! :)

Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I have worked in music schools with children and I have taught private lessons for 5 years dealing with people of all ages. Lessons can be given in Spanish or English and it is also possible to give in my location, in yours, or by online too. It is never too late to do something you really want to do!

To stay organized and cover all the essentials, I like to split the lesson in parts, depending on your skill level of course. In a lesson of one hour we can cover theoretical music skills, breath work, reed exercises, etudes and technical exercises and pieces. We can also play duos together! Because I have a lot of experience making reeds, I can make and adjust your reeds to your maximal comfort. Life can get hectic, so I'm all about flexibility. We can find a time during the week that works for both of us, and we'll make sure our lessons fit seamlessly into your schedule. I am a professional opera singer with 10 years of performance experience as a freelancer in the UK, now working and living in the Netherlands. I have a Bachelor of Music (honours) in singing from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. I also have 12 years of teaching experience, working both privately and in schools. I have taught the ages 10-70 and have an encouraging and dynamic style of teaching. I like people to enjoy their music lessons but believe that breathing and support technique is essential in singing all genres of music. I am very confident and have a lot of experience in preparing students for both classical and music theatre singing exams. I have a 100% pass rate with many entrants gaining merit or distinction marks.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
