Songwriting & musicianship - Composing on an instrumentSongwriting is a great skill to have and a useful means of expression. Songwriting and musicianship involve using your instrument (guitar or keyboard usually) to create a song (lyrics and music) or piece of instrumental music if you prefer.
I will guide you through the theory in as much or as little depth as you prefer, using it merely as a tool to better learn your craft of composition. For less experienced musicians, we can use my own color music system to find and remember where notes are on the instrument.
Whether you are already an aspiring songwriter, just beginning, or thinking about embarking on the journey of learning to be a songwriter, these classes can offer you a scaffolding upon which to hang your talent. Together we can flesh out the ideas of your compositions that when realized will give you an incredible feeling of having created your own structure of beautiful sounds.

Piano and vocal - singing teacher. All levels are acceptable! We will achieve any level you wantI finished a music school and my speciality was the piano. I did an expanded course that lasted 13 years, 3-4 times per week and, of course, all included : sight reading, notation, music theory etc. Since 7 years old, I went to several national piano competitions all around the world every year until I was accepted at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. There, I’m studying vocals and music industry in general. I won a lot of first, second, grand prices as marks of my achievements. I’m from Lithuania, I was working there as a private piano and singing teacher for a couple of years. During a gap year I took, I was teaching as well. My mum is a piano teacher, I was in this sphere for all my life. As I was teaching, I had international students from Germany and Italy. It makes me experienced in English language teaching. If you have any questions, I’m ready to answer and to teach you how to play from any level to any level you want.

Auriane
Vocal coatching : discover your own voice and learn to use itThe focus of this class is to help anybody who aims for it to find his or her own vocal power to sing, in accordance with the student's skills and qualities.
My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France.
I also believe that singing is connected to the body and the way we use it, and become more aware of it. I acquired many tools in order to teach you how to sing your favourite songs in your own free way.
I'm convinced that there is not one way to sing "good" : we all have a voice and I am here to help you find it with exercices according to your own needs. With regular practice and a body-based approach, I'am here to guide you on the way to enjoy your voice freely and earn self-confidence and musical enjoyment !
I would be happy to answer any questions or doubts,
Can't wait to meet you !

Ricardo
Singing (Classical and Contemporary), QTS certified TeacherHello, my name is Ricardo and I'm a Portuguese professional opera singer and singing teacher based in London. I trained at the University of Aveiro (2010; BMus & MEdu Vocal Performance and Tuition w/ Distinction) and at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (2011; MMus in Performance w/ Merit). I'm a certified singing teacher and would love to help you! I teach singing to any age range and in a variety of styles: Classical, Contemporary/Musical Theatre. I teach either at my home in Wimbledon or at the student's home. I'm happy to travel within the London metropolitan area but will adjust the price of the lessons according to the travel costs I incur. My schedule is very flexible and the lessons are to be arranged with the student on a weekly basis. My singing students will be prepared to undertake any endeavour they want to in the music world: I can prepare them to sing for fun for family gatherings, Conservatoire access, ABRSM exams or to sing professionally. I've also had great success with Skype/Facetime singing lessons. These are charged at the same price as live lessons and the date and time are to be arranged between me and the student. My Message to you: My singing teaching is based in objective physical information which you can replicate, memorise and follow. My main goal is to help you build a healthy muscle memory for singing which you can then put to the service of Art. I believe a great technical foundation is at the core of Artistic Creation and a Vocal Technique is the toolbox from where you draw what you need in order to express yourself. Having built my own voice from scratch, I know how to put the puzzle of Singing together and will support you to achieve the same. I'm an honest supportive teacher and I will make sure we enjoy our time working together.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional educationFrom my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons,
cultural studies.
During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant.
My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis).
So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Vocal Technique “Vocal Sensations” (English & Spanish)I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice.
We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time!
It’s going to be a lot of fun!
