Or if you have a basic understanding but would like to master your exposure, get more creative with your images, use priority modes and understand how to read an image using your photographic histogram. We can look into different ways to create interesting compositions for your images. I'm an Event Coordinator for a Women's Refugee charity in the morning, but I experiment with clothes during the weekend or whenever I travel (which is where I draw most of my inspiration from). In this class, you will learn the basics of Photography. This class is aimed at people who want to learn how to operate a DSLR camera at a beginner level. You will learn how to operate the camera using manual mode and take photos in JPEG and RAW format.

The aim, depending on the students knowledge of photography, is to enhance their knowledge and skills to a level that they are happy enough to venture on the the world of imagery on their own. I can give you, the student some advice from my previous experience in the field and from my previous education (Masters Degree), on equipment, tips and tricks to what is in my opinion best suited to your needs and budget.

If you have been using a camera or mobile phone for a long time or you have just bought or been given a new one and you have never dared to shoot in manual mode or you want to learn more or try new things, these classes are ideal for you. Together we will go over all the technical and narrative points so that you can get the most out of your camera and be able to express and document everything that attracts you and makes you think or reflect. In a didactic and playful way you will have the necessary tools to start creating more visually attractive images as you always wanted to do. You will start to see at another level and life will start to seem like a constant movie where everything happens around you. Why can't I create blur? How do I change the color of my photo? Why is my image grainy? How do I avoid a blurry image? But my photo didn't turn out well at all! We will solve these and many more questions together by learning basic and advanced techniques using fun exercises. Light measurement, movement control, focus and blur, color, composition, depth of focus, image quality, color temperature, contrast and much more will be some of the dozens of points to be covered. I have honed my skills as a 2D illustrator and visual developer, working as both a character and background designer in the Netherlands. There, I contributed to a variety of projects, including music videos, informative animations, promotional videos, and posters. Notably, I worked on animated music videos for Spinning Records and Steve Aoki's '6OKI' animated music video series.
