MY LESSONS: Learning Estonian can be quite hard on your own or in a group. As a native speaker, I can help you become fluent in Estonian by mostly practicing conversation and pronunciation. I also help with other aspects of language learning, like writing, reading, and listening. Sometimes I help with Harno exam preparations as well. I tend to work with a maximum of two students at once, so couples, friends, and family members are welcome to have the lesson together. We will be using English as a base language in our lesson. Estonian is the official language in Estonia and one of the official languages of the European Union. The jobs of the future, however, will require workers with advanced literacy and numeracy skills, and maybe you start a business in Estonia or attend training or school, or be added to a language course list. Digital literacy and intercultural communication are some of the skills you will learn in my lessons. I use English language books to explain the structures and origins of the Estonian language. Academic learning is divided into three parts. 1) Spoken language such as diction, acting on stories or poems, public speaking, debates and discussions, etc. 2) Reading exercises such as the main idea, supporting details, the author's purpose, organisation and text structures, the audience, evaluating arguments, drawing conclusions, tone, and mood, meaning of words and phrases, figurative language, graphic structures of information and elements of fiction, etc. 3) Grammar and sentence structure such as the parts of speech, constructing sentences, capitalization, common language errors, the essay, writing a thesis statement, structuring the essay, providing supportive evidence, writing well, etc.

I am a Software Engineer, teacher and tutor. I graduated from Tallinn English College in 2016 and Tallinn French Lyceum in 2019, and I received my bachelor's degree in software development from Tallinn University of Technology in 2022. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in software development. I work daily as a tutor and senior advisor in my companies. I have also been teaching for 5 years. I help students prepare for state exams in Estonian (levels A1-C1) and math (both narrow and broad curriculums). I can always share tricks and exercises with students in class. I have clients age 5-65. I conduct lessons and meetings on Google Meet, during which I share my screen with the student, and together we write a Google Docs file with exercises, speak and write essays. This file, containing formulas and rules, stays with the student. At the end of the lesson, I assign homework to the student, and we review it in the next lesson. I have the same system applied in programming. I always choose topics that interest the student to make it easier for them to learn rules or formulas. I can also visit the student in person. Additionally, I help with writing research papers and final theses, ranging from elementary school research papers to master's theses.

Learning totally a new language may seem scary but with me it is not! I guarantee it for you! If you are scared for talking then I can help you! I know my english is not the best but belive me or not I have been learning english for 5 years! People can learn my mother language up to 2 years! They say it can be hard but if you really want you can do it!!

I have completed a master's degree in teaching Estonian language and literature, German as an additional major. After that, I continued my studies at the Master's degree in translation, where I completed a 2-year program, at the moment I still have a thesis to do. I have been working as a teacher for 17 years now, the last 3 years at the Tallinn English College, where I teach Estonian language, German language, literature, research paper writing on both the national and international (IBO) curriculum. I have also worked as a translator, editor and private teacher (also online). I am correct, conscientious, flexible, reliable and diligent. I prefer to work at home.
