My approach to lessons is to focus on breaking down concepts for students to understand and covering exam technique. I teach according to the specification whilst helping tackle exam questions. This ensures students have sufficient knowledge of what’s required and are able to apply that knowledge in exams to achieve high marks. I believe that working outside lessons is just as important as in the lessons, so I advise students on how to approach revision in their own time to increase their productivity. I teach students across a variety of ages, from primary all the way to A-levels. Lessons typically last an hour, although I can teach for longer if necessary. As well as my GCSEs and A-levels, I have also sat and taught various entrance exams, including the 11+ and the UCAT. My experience as a teacher spans a few years. I have taught both in a group setting as a teaching assistant at First Class Learning, and also 1 on 1 as a private tutor.
