I am a first year master's student at EPFL, in biology. I offer support courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The course offers a possibility of help for students having difficulties in the courses offered. The student will find a framework where they can ask these questions, discuss methodologies and improve. Putting my knowledge at the service of other people is something I like to share. I help people from primary to gymnasium improve their proficiency level in french at writting and speaking. And because i have a background in Engeneering studies i can also help in Mathematics and physics. Same goes with adults willing to learn french and for those who needsto start with the basics in English

My name is Noreen, I am in my first year of a bachelor's degree at HEC Lausanne and I am a tutor for primary school students. I have many learning techniques and am happy to share them with students. I am calm and patient by nature and I have no problem repeating myself or explaining several times if necessary.

During a mathematics or scientific branch course, the student has specific questions or subjects to address (ranging from compulsory school to the end of the gymnasium in maturity/reinforced math) in order to fill in the gaps in the subject . If he wants to get ahead of the program or needs help with homework/exercises, this is also possible.

I offer both reinforcement and in-depth courses, adapted to the students' pace and the teachers' requirements. With 10 years of experience in individual monitoring and 5 years in front of diverse classes, I do not offer so much academic support as lively and interactive courses, whose key words are kindness and encouragement. Familiar with the Swiss and French programs as well as the IB, I know the frequent and less frequent sticking points that students encounter, as well as the classic exercises that must be redone absolutely and those that go further. My method: Understanding and assimilating the course are at the heart of everything, and that is why I particularly insist on this point which often requires filling in gaps from previous years. As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. During my studies, I had the opportunity to act as a student assistant at EPFL in various courses in the Computer Science section. These experiences allowed me to develop a teaching spirit. I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and helping students develop their reasoning skills. Hello I am from Morocco and I am very passionate about science. I am currently a student at EPFL and I make available my knowledge in Mathematics and Physics for support and academic support courses in all levels from primary to secondary. I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

Student in the second year of a master's degree in Chemistry at EPFL, I offer individualized pedagogy, help with the preparation of questions or exams as well as homework support. I can offer you a level from high school to university. My goal is to help you progress while enjoying studying subjects that are not always easy for everyone.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL). FOR WHOM, FOR WHAT: This course aims to provide a framework for the preparation of future students at EPFL. Many students are preparing for the start of the new school year at EPFL, but many of them are lost and don't know where to start. Some drag gaps from gymnasium/college with them, which prevent them from starting to learn/relearn math and physics and prepare well for the start of the school year. In this course, I propose to supervise the student in his preparation. This course is adapted to the level in mathematics (standard and advanced) and physics (standard) of all sections of EPFL*. CONTENTS : The course aims to adapt to the needs of the student. In particular, it is common to: - resume gym/college classes -identify and address remaining gym/college gaps - Fly over new subjects (the goal being not to be surprised when introducing them to the university) -Work on certain subjects in advance -Develop a work strategy and get organized -Share experience/give advice -Present the exam modalities (within the limits of my knowledge) Note that the courses are flexible.
