My name is Virág, and I am a Visual Development Artist and Character Designer. I have honed my skills as a 2D illustrator and visual developer, working as both a character and background designer in the Netherlands. There, I contributed to a variety of projects, including music videos, informative animations, promotional videos, and posters. Notably, I worked on animated music videos for Spinning Records and Steve Aoki's '6OKI' animated music video series. While my primary focus is on the cartoon style, I have experience in a diverse range of styles, including corporate, whiteboard animation, realistic, and children's illustration. I have a bachelor's degree in digital arts, obtained at Saint Luc in 2016. During my studies I made live models, had courses in color, 2D animation, perspectives and character design. I mainly draw with a graphics tablet. As a young artist and teacher of visual arts, I offer art classes without necessarily limiting the teaching on a technique or a single material (painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video etc.). The goal of this course is the increase and improvement of our capacity to experiment, test and learn how we can use not only the traditional means of fine arts, but also discover new plastic possibilities to express an interest, an idea or an obsession. We will not hesitate to also look at the history of art and make visits to exhibitions and museums to take the necessary stimuli that will help us in learning. I'm well-versed in grant writing, having achieved 3 successful grants to date and my work is featured in a number of publications. I have been fortunate enough to have works in private collections.
