I am a passionate teacher, guitarist for almost 15 years, in all styles (Rock, Metal, Pop, Funk, Shred...), specializing in the composition of pieces but also improvisation techniques. The lessons I offer are personalized and based on your musical tastes in order to explore guitar playing techniques. We'll work together on the pieces you love, while developing your technique and understanding of music. We will discuss different musical styles (rock, pop, blues, folk, etc.) and different playing techniques (chords, arpeggios, rhythm, solo, alternate picking, sweep picking etc.). I will also give you advice to improve your posture and hand placement, in order to play in the best possible conditions. Classes take place at my home or at your home, depending on your preferences. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term.
