I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Classical Music, and I love to share my knowledge, experiences, and passion for the violin with my students. My goal is to explore the violin together with you and follow your aspirations with the instrument. Would you like to learn violin in a fun and relaxed atmosphere? My name is Gabriela, I have 12 years of experience as a performing violinist and started with my teaching practice 3 years ago. Music is a wonderful way of bringing joy and people together. My goal is to give you the tools to share it with the people around you. In this class you will learn the basics of violin technique such as the correct body posture, violin hold and the grip of the bow. In combination with violin, a introduction to music theory will also be taught! A personalized plan can be made for each student according to their own musical taste, this could range from classical, film, folk, pop music and others. Students of all ages are welcomed!

I am originally form Argentina, and a recent graduate form the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (with a Masters degree in music performance -viola). For the younger ones, lessons will be oriented towards the Suzuki method (until ages 12/13)

In the lesson we start with the basics or if you already have experience, we start where you want to advance. Along with the technical aspects of the violin, I will also teach you music theory and everything you can need to achieve your goal. The lessons are controlled by you, so that your interests and wishes are always the focus. For this I will get you the appropriate material and teaching methods.

In this violin course, you will learn how to play the violin with good intonation and develop your rhythm by learning your favorite repertoires. Music theory is included for beginners.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools: Hart Muziekschool in Haarlem and Vioolstudio 020! in Amsterdam). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.
