Ciao, My name is Marsilda. I am a professional Italian teacher for 10 years with a bachelor's and master's degree. I currently live in Italy and I am here to help you with Italian, the language of love. Since I was a child I spoke two languages in my family. I know what it feels like to learn a new language, that’s why I know how to encourage, understand, and establish a good relationship with my students. I’ve been teaching since I was 19 when I left home for college. I was mainly tutoring and helping students with homework at that time. In 2020 because of COVID, I started to work online as a translator, private teacher of Italian, and everything that involved the Italian language. In my lessons we not only learn a language, but if you like, we can learn about Italian culture, traditions, religion, food 😁 and so on. Usually, to facilitate learning, I use innovative methods, such as recommending TV shows or movies, books, songs, poems, and everything that piques the student's interest. Then we comment together in class. One important thing for me is that my students speak the language every day, not just twice a week we have the lesson. This is fundamental to accustom the brain to become more and more familiar with the language. That’s why I recommend apps, songs, and sites where you can keep your language trained until our next lesson. If I haven’t convinced you yet, come take a class with me.
