How many times have I heard "I was bad at math, it's useless" or "math is not for me", or even (the only true one) "a math teacher traumatized me". All this can be behind you, interest and abilities in this beautiful discipline can come in just a few lessons! Listening to your difficulties or questions, I will be able to guide you so that YOU understand, you find this satisfaction of a well-conducted reasoning, and not recited like poetry in an unknown language. As an associate professor, I have the technical background and the necessary perspective to teach you what you need; however, many professors will have more than enough knowledge to do the same. Only, few will have this passion and desire to make people love the work done together, mixed with a kindness without finite limits.

I mainly teach math lessons from middle school to high school. Before starting the lessons, I need to get in touch with the student to know their level, the areas where they want to improve and their objectives. Depending on the level, I adapt the work seen in class to the different points of improvement and suggest exercises consistent with what the student is stuck on. At the same time, I go over point by point the elements that were not for the student (in the Ds and the questions) I rework the exercises seen in class. Finally, and this is the most important, I advise the student on his working methods, with what state of mind to approach the exercises. I can also provide homework help in subjects other than mathematics: I got 17 in the HEC philosophy exams and I didn't get below 18 in subjects such as SES, Philosophy and history in the BAC. I recommend at least one math lesson per week in order to take stock of the week; it is regularity that allows progress. As a Tutor at EDHEC I already have experience of courses with high schools. I am a calm, composed and educational person. In terms of math, I got 18 in my math baccalaureate and then I went to a HEC preparatory class at Louis-Le-Grand in advanced math where I had more than 12 hours of math per week.

I have a Master's degree in Philosophy, with a specialization in the philosophy of history and art. I love teaching any subject in the Humanities, because I did an intensive degree in Humanities in Paris. I also taught different languages such as Spanish, French and English for many years to children of different ages, from kindergarten to high school.

I teach GCSE or equivalent Religious Education, specialising in Christianity/Catholic Christianity, Judaism, Islam, HInduism, Sikhism and Buddhism. I have recently taught and examined AQA RS A and B. I teach the beliefs and practices of the religions and exam skills (how to answer exam questions, how to maximise time in exam settings). I can also teach the Irish curriculum in Religious Education.

I propose to give lessons on the method in order to best succeed in the final philosophy exam. Indeed, the most important thing is to understand the method of constructing your essay. Based on the courses and the concepts, together we will seek to write ideas and concepts in a "logical" way for the construction of the argument that is requested.
