Trusted teacher: I am an italian piano teacher with many years of experience. I encourage music study not only for performance success, but also for personal development. I can teach both classical piano or modern (jazz/rock/pop) piano. I really enjoy sharing music knowledge with my students, I love working with very young children and with old beginners as well. So whether you are keen to learn classical repertoire and take ABRSM grades or simply want to improve your skills and enjoy a stimulating hobby, I can help you. Homework will focus on the achievement of specific goals set for each lesson so that the students progress. BIO: Silvio, born in 1986, is a pianist, composer and educator originally from Italy. He began studying classical piano at the age of eleven and went on to major in piano at the Conservatory of Lecce, graduating with full marks in 2005. After falling in love with jazz and improvisation when he was nineteen, he attended Lecce State Conservatory on a full jazz scholarship in 2011. Silvio specializes in many styles of piano and has received numerous prizes at national piano competitions. In addition to being a musician, Silvio has expertise in business. He graduated with first class honours (110/110 cum laude) in Economics and Finance from the University of Salento in 2013. Trusted teacher: I provide piano lesson for beginning, intermediate and advanced students, preparing them for piano exams up to grade 8, including the necessary aural and music theory training. I also teach pre-school children from the age of 3 as well as children with disabilities, adjusting the music program to their needs. When working with young children I focus on developing their musical imagination and curiosity, while also providing them with technical skills and a detailed understanding of the musical score. I aim to provide a firm basis on which they can build a western classical repertoire, or any other musical style they choose. For beginners I work with one of the early piano syllabi, usually Thompson's 'Easiest Piano Course' or Oxford's piano method book 'Piano Time,' which consist of fun songs and simple melodies. Through this the pupil is gradually introduced to various aspects of the melody (such as pitch, duration of notes, phrasing and articulation) and coordination of both hands on the keyboard in a creative and stimulating way. At this stage I place a strong emphasis on proper body posture and hand position. As the pupil acquires fundamental piano skills and gets comfortable reading music I proceed with them through the ABRSM or Trinity piano syllabus to a more advanced repertoire. Throughout a student’s education, I incorporate sight reading, scales exercises and technical work into the lesson structure and daily practice routine of the pupil. I also focus on developing my students’ understanding of how music theory applies to the material they play. Applying Musicological knowledge and own performing experience I teach students in depth analyses of the music they play, guide their individual interpretation and bring their awareness to the specifics of a historically informed performance. My pupils play a broad variety of western classical styles, and I will work with them to balance their program and maximise their enjoyment and appreciation for music. The student will become familiar with the main forms and stylistic traits of baroque, classical, romantic and 20th century Western classical music. I will also make sure the pieces stay challenging technically and if needed I will provide additional materials which will help the student to focus on the areas which need most work on. Though not usually covered in exam syllabi, I am happy to work alongside the student on pieces which do not necessarily fit into the Western classical canon, should they so wish. Playing and learning an instrument should primarily bring joy, and as a result inspire the student’s dedication to practice and foster a willingness to work hard. I believe in the importance of the relationship between teacher and student and as such provide the needed mental support and encouragement. I adopt an intuitive pupil-centred approach to learning that will best support their passion for making music. Attention to detail is paramount, and staying attuned to the needs of the student is always a priority. As such, I will adjust the tempo of the program to meet goals at a pace that is ideal for both the pupil’s ability and well-being.

Nutritionist and Living-Well Coach Hello, My name is Jay, a Nutritionist and Living-Well Coach in London who is driven by a desire to help people live optimally and purposefully realise their potential. Background I have travelled and lived in London and Los Angeles, helping people with demanding lives to achieve what every health conscious individual wants - a fundamentally healthful, harmonious and fulfilling life. Over the last fifteen years, it has brought me immense joy to share my accumulated knowledge and experience in nutrition and wellness, understanding that every person is unique in what they are going through and, accordingly, I adapt myself to line up with the client’s vision for him/herself. It was an inborn desire that fuelled me to want to attain self-actualisation initially, and (now) self-transcendence (overcoming the limiting imposter, the ego). It has been a personal journey, which has been ultimately rewarding, reflected in a deeply necessary and satisfying transformation in all areas of my life. I went from losing enormous amounts of weight (17.5 stones down to 8.7 stones) in my twenties, and took the decisive action to show the proverbial red card to ego in favour of establishing and welcoming peace and balance. It was the greatest act of love for myself, and for others by extension. My spirit changed, and my outlook and zest for life became beautifully heightened, so much so that I no longer wanted to go back to the old way of ego. Everything in my life began falling into place, harmoniously and abundantly. The hardest is going it alone, thinking no-one can relate. Unless, of course, you find someone who genuinely can. I am here to help. There is no substitute for personal experience and I cherish every opportunity to share what I know and trust will be of immeasurable benefit to you. The world is transformed through our kind choices to share from the wealth in and from our hearts. I want everyone to live well and optimally. It is the birthright of every individual! How I Can Help (A) Nutrition ▫️Safe and sustainable weight-loss and management, without sacrificing the foods that you love. ▫️ Food selecting, factoring in any dietary restrictions and sensitivities. ▫️ Calorie control and moderation. ▫️Lean-bulking. ▫️ Variety - enjoying a rich and varied diet. (B) Living well ▫️Establishing a realistic balance between health/wellness goals and your other commitments, in a way that prospers you without unduly sacrificing any one of your daily tasks. ▫️ Establishing and integrating an exercise regimen that realistically works for you, based on your fitness goals and lifestyle. ▫️Having me as your accountability partner - not just to simply monitor progress but to work with you to pinpoint where and how any changes in approach can benefit you on an ongoing basis. ▫️ Developing mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. ▫️ Helping you to overcome the self-limiting ego and being uplifted to a state of self-actualisation, with a view to self-transcendence. In short, being the most magnificent version of yourself on Earth! ▫️Successfully managing and eradicating negative self-talk and any unhealthy habits that are holding you back. Method of Service and Locations My appointments are held in person, typically at the client’s place or any preferred meeting place locally. I operate in the following areas: 1. Mayfair 2. Hyde Park 3. Knightsbridge 4. Belgravia 5. South Kensington (At least 24 hours’ reasonable prior notice to amend appointments.) And Finally... If you are looking for a friendly-yet-focussed, highly-passionate, knowledgeable and experienced professional who is dedicated to seeing you be well and excel in your journey, then please do get in contact. All my best to you and yours, Jay
