After obtaining my Master’s degree in performance orientation, I am currently doing my Master's degree in instrumental pedagogy at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern. My goal is to guide my students in the discovery of the cello repertoire and technique by using innovative learning methods and the synthesis of the different styles of music.

The cello has a unique sound that changes depending on the style you are interpreting. For example, baroque music and contemporary music differ greatly in their interpretation and playing style. In these cello lessons you will learn the basics of playing the cello, from the correct position of the instrument and bow to first melodies and simple etudes and more demanding pieces. The lessons are individually tailored to your needs and abilities and promote both technical skills and musical expression. Depending on requirements, I can also teach the basics of jazz, pop and new music and am open to any (song) requests from my students.

The cello is a beautiful instrument from the family of string instruments with a warm, deep sound. The instrument offers the opportunity to play in a wide variety of formations, from solo to in a large orchestra. I have completed an artistic degree and am currently doing a master's degree in education at the Bern University of the Arts. I have already taught for two and a half years in Hanover, where I lived before, and would like to pass on my passion to children. I make my lessons as varied and stimulating as possible - the focus is on fun and games. I also like to improvise with my students on the instrument and am open to all kinds of ideas, including when it comes to the repertoire. But I also have a plan for how I will learn exercises, songs and pieces with the students, depending on their level of difficulty.

Piano lessons in English, German and Turkish. A teaching program consisting of solfeggio at the basic level, classical music pieces and pop music pieces on request. Solfege is taught for the first 15 minutes of class until a basic level of solfege knowledge is acquired. Hello! My name is Orestis, I come from Cyprus and I am 27 years old. I am passionate about teaching, and one of the greatest joys of my professional career is watching my students flourish. I have been playing the piano for 20 years now and have over 7 years in teaching the piano. My goal is to make the piano lessons fun and enjoyable while also incorporating all the necessary elements, such as theory, music history and sight-reading, to create a well rounded musical education. Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses. Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible. I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.
