The course focus on concepts that will make any student of any level developing their own approach to improvisation. How to improvise by Al Crook ed Advance Music, for horn players, This book describes a nice way of approaching improvisation through specific exercises that can be tested on students of any kind of level. It divides in 4 section and requires a minimum knowledge of scales, chords and familiarity with musical vocabulary Hearing the Changes by jerry Cooker, Bob knapp, Larry Vincent, ed advance Music, for all musicians With this book the student will learn how to recognize progressions by ear thanks on a selection of jazz tunes chosen from the standard repertoire. It will be taught at the piano and it will let students of any level to deal with harmony and theory progressively but starting codifying harmonic traits that will clarify the reader's understanding of how progressions and improvisation "work".

Finally there is an international guitar school in Copenhagen where all students are not only learning how to play properly the guitar from a professional guitarist but also how to appreciate the meaning of the music and arts. Students will also be prepared for professional music education. So whether the student wants to become a professional guitar player or play the guitar as a hobby, they will always learn a constructive way to play the guitar and perform with the instrument. Lessons are open for everyone (children, teenagers, adults). The students are welcome to the lessons from the age of 6. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.
