Hello ! My name is Julia and I am a master's student in Engineering at EPFL. Do you have difficulty in certain scientific subjects, such as maths, chemistry or physics? I am here for this ! Whether you are a pupil or student (school and university level), we can face these difficulties together. I am available to give online courses, on the EPFL campus or directly at your home.

I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL). I strive to transmit my knowledge and my passion for the subject to my students, at a pace adapted to their needs.
