My name is Shak. I am 21 years old and currently studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I've been playing different instruments for as long as I can remember and I've mainly started to focus on bass guitar. I also play in several bands and I have a lot of experience with the instrument on stage or in the studio. I also know a lot about everything that has to do with theory, so I make a lesson plan that is completely tailored to what you want to do! Lessons can take place at my home or at school. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. I am a double bass player based in the city of Leuven. I recently obtained my third master in music in double bass at the LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens. I am currently working as a double bass tutti in the Brussels Philharmonic and i am the bass player of the ensembleDRE. As a double bass player i have played in different amateurs and young Orchestras like NJO, the junge-deutsch franzosische philarmonie and Futurorchestra, and with professional Orchestras like Casco Phil and Ataneres Ensemble. As a teacher i have taught pop music and electric bass in Italy. Through my experiences , concerning different kinds of music, i would like to approach the double bass and/or electric bass to people of any age.
