I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

During the sessions, you are guided in your writing project. This is a beginner class. I also offer intermediate and advanced creative writing for those who are looking for more specific feedback and skills. I am a published author and produced screenwriter. This class will introduce you to some building blocks for writing effective poetry. This will focus on imaginative and descriptive aspects of poetry, as opposed to technical and academic aspects. It also works for creative writing in general. However, it will specifically focus on some of the more playful and concise elements of poetry, as opposed to the structure and narrative of prose, for example. There are a lot of barriers and negative preconceptions around poetry which I am to dismantle - building confidence and making poetry feel fun, as opposed to fearful! Enthusiasm is more important to me than academic ability. I also welcome pupils who speak English as an additional language and will try my best to accommodate as many access needs as possible. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

If you are stuck with a design project, be it a house, a public building, a landscape, or even a piece of the city, I am here to help! I have three years of experience in teaching at the university level, and I am always keen to work with you on the conceptual, artistic, and technical dimensions of your design projects no matter the scale. I can also work with you to acquire foundational design skills and prepare you for future studies. Together we will touch upon: 1- The design process and tools. (e.g. conceptualizing, sketching, modelling, contextualizing, mapping, diagramming) 2- Aesthetic and practical considerations (e.g. expression, quality, human perception, climate, sustainability) 3- The spatial experience and how to materialize it (e.g. space and structure, flow and movement, materiality, detailing) 4- the modes of architectural drawing and visualization (e.g. plans, sections, elevations, axonometrics, perspectives, collages, layouts) 5- Relevant softwares (e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

In this tailor-made Portfolio-preparation course, your child will build his/her own body of work, from research, idea development, and thinking processes, to the final piece of art which helps to prepare for interviews, university admission, or competitions. In the course, it is full of flexibility and creative processes, your child will develop his/her interpretation of chosen themes and unique personal styles.

I am a tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching at a variety of levels from primary school to GCSE level. I teach English Language, English Literature, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), Maths, and Creative Writing. I have a special passion for creative writing, which I specifically studied in my joint honours degree (BA English with Creative Writing), and specialise in producing stories, written poetry, and spoken word poetry which I have previously performed at events. I have run creative writing workshops for children at previous educational centres and love to make writing enjoyable, engaging and exciting for all of my students at all levels. I believe the most successful results come from fostering a friendship with my students, and providing constant encouragement and support in their areas of interest. I pride am an attentive listener and I carefully plan my lessons according to the specific needs of my students, which is particularly helpful for my SEN, ESOL, and younger pupils. At the beginning of every lesson I also do short icebreaker activities and challenges with my students, using a points reward system to keep them engaged. Previous students have gone on to become the top of their class and receive recognition at school for both English and Maths. Lessons start at 1 hour in length, with longer lessons available if required. Lessons are structured according to the needs of the student; this can be working alongside their class syllabus to support them with progress at school, tackling an area or subject they want to excel at, and helping them prepare for national exams such as GCSEs. I provide feedback after every lesson and detailed progress reports every six months for each student. I primarily offer online lessons as I have found this works well for me and my students, but in some cases I do teach face-to-face depending on location and availability within London. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings.
