As a private violin teacher, my approach is primarily focused on the musical development of the student and adapting teaching to their needs and level. I offer a progressive and structured method, beginning with learning the fundamentals of the violin (technique, posture, music reading) through exercises adapted to each student. For advanced students, the emphasis is placed on interpretation, musicality, and the exploration of various styles, particularly jazz and world music. As the student progresses, I integrate elements of improvisation to develop their creativity and musical autonomy. A typical class begins with a technical warm-up, followed by the study of a piece or specific exercise. Depending on the student's level, we may also cover more specific aspects, such as improvisation or musical analysis. I strive to create a caring and stimulating environment, where each student feels free to explore and progress at their own pace. My classes are aimed at all levels, from beginner to advanced, and can be adapted to anyone wishing to learn to play the violin or to improve their technique, whether for a personal project or in preparation for a diploma.

VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible.
