As a computer science student at EPFL, mathematics has been an integral part of my academic journey for a long time. Student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor - at the IC (computer science) faculty. During a mathematics or scientific branch course, the student has specific questions or subjects to address (ranging from compulsory school to the end of the gymnasium in maturity/reinforced math) in order to fill in the gaps in the subject . I finished my Doctorate in Physics at EPFL and now I teach Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English to secondary I and secondary II students. I offer personalized support for each student, while considering their objectives. I help students in difficulty to pass their exams, but also those who want to reach a level of excellence and perhaps go a little beyond the school curricula. The courses will be adapted to each individual case. I prioritize comprehension to the detriment of memorization and I help students develop their mathematical / scientific reasoning, in order to make them more autonomous. As important as transmitting knowledge is to share passion through science.

I quickly noticed that the problem often comes from understanding the exercises given rather than the course itself, so here's how I like to proceed: I always start by first making sure that the principle of the course is understood by focusing on the points that block, and then we can start looking at the exercises, given by the teacher, that pose a problem. The goal is that at the end of the rehearsal course, the student has in his hands cards with the different methods used to solve all the possible types of exercises, especially those requested in the exam. I myself take care of preparing these sheets during the rehearsal course in order to summarize all the methods acquired.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL). As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. Hi Everyone, I'm working as a researcher in nuclear fusion at EPFL, after a PhD at EPFL, a masters at ETH in Zurich and a bachelors in Freiburg, I got quite proficient in maths and physics. I have quite some experience in teaching, and gave lessons to all ages from highschool to university level.

This course is intended for people who want tutoring or special help in order to prepare for the matriculation exams, or even those at university. I teach all school math subjects, as well as college-level analysis and algebra.
