Make your own song, record it, and have creative support!

Do you make music at home, but always wanted to record a song for fun?

If you are learning how to play it, I have the gear to help you create and record a song, so you can share it with your friends and family, or just have it for yourself.
I can play a lot of instruments and create tracks to accompany you. You can write a song or make a recording of you playing something you are working on. Depending on your level and experience with music, it would be a great way to learn some music theory too.

I am Julia, a professional musician originally from Montreal, Canada. I have lived in the Netherlands for 4 years and have a Master's degree in Music. I compose, engineer, and perform music. I also love to teach, I have experience with ages 9 to 90. I want to get the song in your head out into the air.

Maybe you need an open ear to talk to about creativity, somebody to make sure you are following through on things, or help finding your curiosity. Maybe you secretly made a New Year's resolution to follow through on a creative project, maybe it's something new or to return to something you'd left behind. We all have our mediums, mine is music! Even if you are not a musician but do other kinds of projects, I hope I can help you structure and spark your creative project. I have taught music lessons and given group workshops since 2016. I have also produced and funded performances, recordings, and research projects. Doing this with a Master's in Music but also side-studies in Psychology, Education, and years of experience as a freelancer, I am always learning about balancing organization and creativity.
Any level welcome in this class. Learning songs is the beginning of the adventure, learning to play music with freedom is the lifelong journey. Improvisation does not mean we forget about technique! So, learn some saxophone, some jazz skills, and music theory in a tried-and-tested way developed over my many years of teaching. I am as passionate about improvisation as the saxophone itself, the two go together beautifully. I am Julia, a professional saxophonist originally from Montreal, Canada. I live in the Netherlands for 4 years and have a Master's degree in Music. I compose, engineer and perform music. I also love to teach, I have experiences with ages 9 to 90. The main idea of my teaching philosophy is to get the sound in your head out into the air. "Guided Fearless Music-Making" is my motto!

Filippo

Music Composition - GCSE and A-Level Students - Beginners to Advanced
This class is designed for GCSE and A-Level music students eager to develop their composition skills in line with exam requirements. With a focus on originality and creativity, we will explore compositional techniques, musical structures, and stylistic understanding across a variety of genres. Each session will offer practical exercises and guided tasks tailored to exam criteria, encouraging students to build confidence and express their unique musical voice. Through regular feedback, constructive discussions, and assignment of relevant exercises between lessons, students will gain a deeper understanding of music theory, harmony, and instrumentation to enhance their compositions. My goal is to challenge students to think independently and to prepare them thoroughly for the composition components of their music exams, all within a supportive and engaging online environment.

Drama School Audition Preparation and Acting Lessons
As an actor myself, I know how scary auditions/Drama School auditions can be. With each school requesting different skills and monologues, it can be hard knowing what works well for you as a performer and what will show you off the most. As someone who has been through the process and was successfully offered places at East 15, Lamda and Alra, I would now love to be able to support others through the journey During my lessons, we will focus on your Classical and Contemporary monologues while exploring the best audition techniques for in person or self tapes. I can answer questions, help you find the right scripts for you and support you through the process.

Piano Lessons (Classical Music and Non classical), Music Theory, Harmony, Musical Arrangement, Composition
At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Hope you can join and if so, I’ll be very happy to teach you!

Classical and modern cello classes in Barcelona
(Important! The schedules are now closing with the students I already have, so it is difficult to specify a definitive schedule for September) Hello! I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not? If you like what you have read, do not hesitate to contact me. Learning to play the cello is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you!

✅COACHING / MANAGEMENT CONSULTING / COMMUNICATION WITHIN MARITAL / COUPLE & FAMILY RELATIONS
In our imagination, nourished by our education and our conditioning, we all believed one day that once married, having founded our family, we will realize our dream. Before taking the leap, we all idealize this life, and the stronger our hope, the stronger the awakening to the reality of life would probably be. Indeed, family life is another experience, a challenge and a process during which we learn a lot about ourselves, about the other and about the relationship. By choosing the right mediator, family and married life can therefore be a great opportunity to grow (sometimes in pain, in joy). Among the possible accompaniments, some examples: - The basics of a solid and fulfilled married or family life - How to resolve disagreements - The secrets of a balanced and balancing child education - Learn to express emotions - Manage families and in-laws - How to take your place within the couple - Define the respective roles of each Among the techniques used: - Non-violent communication tools - The “helping relationship” which aims to support people in crisis or conflict situations and help them resolve dysfunctions (emotional, relational difficulties, repetition of scenarios, lack of self-confidence, etc.) . It also leads to better self-knowledge and guides the person to discover their own solutions. The practitioner in helping relationship through his attentive and neutral listening, his training, his personality, his presence, his availability will allow the consultant to progress towards a better knowledge of his psychological mechanisms, respecting his blockages, his rhythm and his ability to hear. The therapist takes into account the subject as a whole: physical, psychological and social. Allow the consultant to access autonomy so that he can, when he feels ready, walk alone, in all inner serenity. - Coaching that allows you to act and take responsibility, which is the basis of effective and lasting change. Work on the management of emotions and relationships, confidence and self-esteem, self-affirmation is at the center of individual support, which allows you to live more fulfilled and authentic relationships. - Love coaching, which is personalized support based on understanding the mechanisms of love and focusing on putting an individual in this disposition of openness and acceptance of the other and their difference (which prepares to receive love) and to transfer keys of understanding to gain emotional maturity. It allows you to obtain concrete and measurable results in your love life. Through coaching, the consultant becomes aware of his resources, optimizes his potential and transforms his life. - Brief marital and family therapy. She is interested in how the problems manifest themselves in the present but the personal history of each is also approached. This insight helps to better understand the events experienced and to make connections between the past and what is at stake in the current difficulties. We introduce changes in behavior to open up perspectives, mainly relational. - Sophrology. Sophrology is a gentle method that promotes relaxation of the body and mind where you relearn how to listen to your feelings using controlled breathing exercises, muscle relaxation and mental suggestions. It allows you to develop your potential, regain self-confidence, manage your emotions and achieve your goals. It will be, at times, interesting to use this technique to manage to unblock the mind that is blocking and to give the body more amplitude to welcome what presents itself. ➤ THE COACH PSYCHOANALYST PSYCHOPRACTITIONER Trained at the Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League University in the United States, our psychoanalyst, psycho-practitioner and behaviorist coach has specialized and worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, regularly speaking in forums and conferences, and also offering personalized INDIVIDUAL support. ➤ PLACE, TIMETABLE, PRICES ✓ Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg-Zurich-Neuchâtel-Lugano-Montreux-Basel-Neuchâtel-Bern-Lucerne-Brussels-Luxembourg-Paris-Lyon.
